The Annual Montrose ~ Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce Installation & Community Awards Dinner will be held on Thursday, March 16th, 2017 at The Oakmont Country Club from 6pm-9pm.This is where we announce the new 2017 Executive Board members & pay tribute to the community members who have exemplified exceptional service in an array of areas:Business of the Year: A local business that serves the community through the donation of goods, services or other resources. SHERIFF DEPUTY–SCOTT SHINAGAWAFirefighter of the Year: A Firefighter who has shown tremendous support of the community through participation & coordination of community activities. BATTALION CHIEF BRIAN JULIAN Frank Roberts Award: Symbolizes a historic tradition of the Roberts Family, whose patronage and support of the Montrose-Verdugo City area has resulted in the highest expression of community involvement. LT COL DAVE WORLEY Beautification Award: The business or person who has demonstrated an extraordinary improvement to the appearance of the community. GLENDALE ARTSPresident’s Award: An individual on the Board who has shown a commitment to Chamber duties beyond what is expected; usually chosen by the President. ERIC HAMILTON Community Enhancement Award: An individual, business or organization who has proven an asset to the community by improving the image and stature of the area. TRATTORIA ALLEGRIA RESTAURANT Fausto Tinelli Chris Waldheim’s Oktoberfest Volunteer Award: An individual or group who has given of their time and service in making the annual Oktoberfest a success.
