Its the end of the school year and the kids are invited to this mixer! The kids can play arcade games while their parents network with other local parents.
“This year’s event will be the 14th event put on by the Crescenta Valley Fireworks Association with the help and guidance of past event chairs and our volunteer committee. The event will be held at the Crescenta Valley High School Field. The entrance to the field is off of Ramsdell Ave. just south of Foothill Blvd. in La Crescenta.”
Tickets are $9 each pre-sale until July 3rd
on July 4th they are $10 at the gate and during drive-through ticket sales
Children 7 and under get in free.
No early entry to the field due to safety. No entry until gates open at 4:00 p.m. Gates will open at 4 p.m. The gates will close at 8:30 p.m., so give yourself plenty of time to find parking and get into the event area.
Servicemen and women get free admission.
The band for this year’s 4th is Stinky Felix
The event will be held at the Crescenta Valley High School Field. The entrance to the field is off of Ramsdell Ave. just south of Foothill Blvd. in La Crescenta. Seating will be on the field, but most folding or camp chairs will not be allowed. Please be prepared with blankets, beach towels or sleeping bags.
Please be aware of the following items:
- There is no food, no smoking and no alcohol allowed!!
- Water in plastic bottles will be the only food item allowed into the event.
- Food purchased at the food trucks must be consumed prior to entering the seating area.
- All packs and large bags will be checked upon entrance.
- Ticket sales subject to field capacity as directed by Fire Marshal
“Chamber’s Annual 9/11 Remembrance Motorcade to honor the men and women who lost their lives in the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. The procession, as always, will stage in the Ralphs parking lot at the corner of Foothill Boulevard and Rosemont Avenue and departs at 8:45 a.m. The route will zigzag through town and will pass two local sheriff stations, five fire stations and 11 local schools. Once again this year, we will have participation from the CV Sheriff’s Station, Glendale PD and CHP motorcycle officers. In the evening there will be a special ceremony at 5:30 p.m. at Bob Smith Toyota, 3333 Foothill Blvd., honoring first responders.”
